AS Roma is pleased to announce the signing of Evan Ferguson from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Ferguson will be on loan at Roma with an option to buy.
Ferguson, born in Bettystown on October 19, 2004 and is the first Irish player ever to join Roma. Starting with his career at Boheemian FC, he joined Brighton in 2021 to play in the Premier League and went on loan to West Ham in January 2025.
He debuted in November 2022 for the National Team of Ireland and to date has scored four goals in his 18 performances. He has collected 103 performances and 21 goals for Club and Land.
Ferguson has chosen the number 11 shirt.
