Michael Dederich, FC Bayern Chief Financial Officer, will resign from the FC Bayern Munich AG Board of Directors on 30 September 2025. Didderich, 59, has been a board member since 1 April 2023 and prior to that member of the FC Bayern Supervisy Board since 2018. The representative CEO contract was due to walking until June 30, 2026.
Herbert Hainer, chairman of the president and supervisory council: “After open and constructive discussions, Michael Dederich told us that he will not expand his contract with FC Bayern. We wish Michael the very best for his future and thank him a lot for his great service and the very successful time we have had together at FC Bayern.
Michael Dederich: “After two very intensive and successful years in the FC Bayern AG board, I decided to take on a new professional challenge. I thank the supervisory board for their trust and my colleagues Jan-Christian Dreesen and Max Eberl for the friendly working relationship. Even after the end of my activity, FC Bayern will always be the club of my heart.”
CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and board member for Sport Max Eberl will perform the tasks of the board until further notice. FC Bayern will announce a successor to Michael Dederich and the future division tasks on the board in due course.
