OCG Nice Striker Gaëtan Laborde (31) has signed for Saudi-Arabian side Al-Diraiyah FC, both clubs have announced. The deal is reportedly worth between € 4-5 million. Al-Diraiyah has been promoted to the second level of the Saudi football system, the Saudi First Division League. During the 2024–25 campaign, Laborde 11 Ligue scored 1 goals and registered four assists when the club finished four.
Laborde came to the service of Nice van Rennes three years ago. In total, the 31-year-old 33 goals set in 118 performances. Laborde's contract would expire next year. The departure of Laborde will be part of a broader commotion in Nice's attack prior to the following season. The club has already announced the signing of Isak Jansson, while both Jérémie Boga and Evann Guessand can also leave this summer.
