According to official news, Inter Miami head coach Gerardo Martino has resigned due to personal reasons. Inter Miami has officially released a poster to express their gratitude towards him.

According to Fabrizio Romano's report, Javier Mascherano will take over as head coach of Inter Miami and the two sides will sign a three-year contract.

Martino took over as head coach of Inter Miami on June 29, 2023. This was his third time coaching Lionel Messi. During his year and a half tenure, he led the team in 67 matches, with a record of 38 wins, 13 draws and 16 losses. He also won the Major League Soccer Leagues Cup and regular season championship.
