OFFICIAL: Koni de Winter joins AC Milan from Genoa until 2030

AC Milan confirms that the Belgian defender has signed a contract with the Rossoneri.

Club statement:

AC Milan is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Koni de Winter of Genoa CFC. The Belgian defender signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2030.

Koni de Winter, born in Antwerp (Belgium), started playing his journey with youth football for Liense and then Zulte Waregem, before he came to Juventus in 2018. He played youth football for the Bianconeri, as well as for their U23 side. He made his first team debut on November 23 in a Champions League match against Chelsea. After a loan period at Empoli, he made a permanent switch to Genoa, with whom he played 57 times and scored three goals in two seasons.

In March 2024 he was first called to the Belgian side and started making his international debut against the Republic of Ireland.

Koni De Winter wears the number 5 shirt.
