FC Barcelona and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Marcus Rashford until 30 June 2026. The agreement also sets an option to buy the English in advance.
The player signed his contract as a Barça player this afternoon during a private meeting in the presence of the FC Barcelona President, Joan Laporta; the director of the football area and other board members.
The agreed loan agreement is for the 2025/26 season with an option to buy it next summer. Rashford is wearing the NO 14 shirt.
A statement from Barcelona said: “FC Barcelona and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the loan from the player Marcus Rashford until 30 June 2026. The agreement also sets an option to buy the English in advance.

Barcelona is expected to cover all wages of Rashford during the proposed loan, although they are currently unable to register the attacker because of the financial rules of LaLiga.
The Spanish champions are supposed to have spent more on signing sessions and wages than they have made in turnover for the 2024/25 season.
The LaLiga rules dictate that clubs can only spend as much as they generate, so Barcelona will be obliged to sell, lower wages or to increase their income flows to make room for new signing sessions.
The deadline for this problem is at the end of August. Barcelona is sure that Rashford and their other new signing sessions register on time for the new season.
Despite their long -standing financial problems, the Catalan club has always been able to register their new signing sessions on time despite these challenges.
England International Rashford had publicly said that he would like to play for the Catalans this summer and were interested in a move to the Liga champions in January before he came on loan at Aston Villa.
The movement of Rashford is supposed to have received the green light by Barca head coach Hansi Flick after talking to the player.
It is thought that Liverpool Luis Diaz was a priority objective, but the Barcelona's claims were previously rejected in the window.
The Academy graduated is one of the five players who have been given extra free time to explore potential movements this summer.
Rashford's career at Old Trafford seemed to be over, because Ruben Amorim claimed that he would rather put his 63-year-old keeper coach on the bench than the attacker because of what he regards as a lack of effort.
