OFFICIAL: Mark Flekken joins Bayer Leverkusen as new goalkeeper on €10m deal

Bayer Leverkusen has officially announced through their social media that Dutch international goalkeeper Mark Flekken has signed with the club until 2028. After two years in Brentford, Flekken returns to the Bundesliga.

According to reports, the transfer costs are € 10 million.

Flekken played 74 Premier League matches for Brentford and held 14 clean sheets. He initially came to the English side of SC Freiburg in May 2023, to replace David Raya as the team's first-choice goalkeeper.

After the departure of Flekken, Brentford Liverpool will sign keeper Cooimhín Kelleher for £ 18 million.
