Official | Monaco sign former Arsenal forward Mika Biereth from Sturm Graz

AS Monaco has officially announced the signing of Mika Biereth (21) from Austrian SK Sturm Graz.

Born in London, the Danish U21 developed in the Arsenal academy system. However, he never made a professional appearance for his formative club. He was loaned out to RKC Waalwijk in Belgium, Motherwell in Scotland and Sturm Graz for the second half of last season.

Last summer he made his move to Austria permanent when Sturm Graz spent almost five million euros on the attacker. It has proven to be a smart investment for the club as Biereth notched 14 goals and five assists in 25 appearances in all competitions.

The final transfer fee that Monaco spent on the Dane has not been announced. However, they have confirmed that he has signed a four-and-a-half year contract, keeping him at the club until June 30, 2029.
