On May 19, Serie A officially announced that the last games of the 2024–25 season for Napoli and Inter will be played on Friday evening at 7:45 pm local time.
If the two teams end the season with the same number of points, a play-off of the title statement may be necessary. In the meantime, Inter will play in the UEFA Champions League final on 31 May, which has led to the planning of conflicts and disagreements between the clubs with regard to the timing of the final round of competitions.
These problems are now solved. Napoli is confronted with Cagliari and Inter will record it on Friday evening at 7:45 PM, while the other eight games of the last round will be played on Sunday 25 May.
This decision was taken after a meeting of the League Council was held on Monday morning. The meeting was initially suspended due to continuous disagreements during the schedule for the last week of the season. After the discussions had resumed, the final agreement was reached to separate the luminaires accordingly.
