RB Leipzig has a new head coach: Ole Werner (37) moves from SV Werder Bremen to the Red Bulls and has signed a contract until 2027.
The resident of Preetz was in charge of the Noord -German Bundesliga club in 128 competitive matches from November 2021 to May 2025 and finished the 2024/2025 season in eighth place, level at points with RB Leipzig.

Before he came to Bremen, Ole Werner held various coaching positions at Holstein Kiel since July 2013 and was appointed head coach in September 2019 at the age of just 31.
