Pepijn Lijnders, born in 1983 in the Netherlands, is a renowned tactical expert in modern football. He previously worked as a youth coach at NEC Nijmegen, PSV Eindhoven and FC Porto, where he was recognized for his ability to develop young players and innovate tactically. In 2014, he joined Liverpool, initially overseeing youth development before being promoted to first-team assistant coach and becoming a key figure in Jurgen Klopp's coaching team.

Lijnders is highly regarded for his tactical planning, training organization and match analysis, and is considered one of the masterminds behind Liverpool's high-pressure system. In 2018, he had a brief spell as head coach of Dutch side NEC Nijmegen, but soon returned to Anfield, where he worked with Klopp to help the team secure the Premier League, Champions League and other major titles.
