Trained in Benfica Lisbon, Renato Sanches played his first game with the first team of the Lisbon Club in October 2015. He quickly became a starter and participated in the conquest of the competition and Coupe de la Ligue Double in the 2015-2016 season.
The Portuguese international was transferred to Bayern Munich and played 53 games, scored 2 goals, delivered 3 assists and won nine titles in the Bavarian shirt. He also played in the Premier League during the 2017-2018 season on loan in Swansea City.

Transferred to Paris Saint-Germain in the Summer Ransfervar Star 2022, the number 18 played 27 games for 2 goals during the 2022-2023 season. The following season borrowed to AS Roma, Renato Sanches played 12 games for 1 goals.
