OFFICIAL: Stoke City Sign Slovak Striker Róbert Boženík on Three-Year Deal

Stoke City has officially announced the signing of Slovak Róbert Boženík on the Portuguese side FC Boavista. The 25-year-old joins the potters with a three-year contract and becomes the sixth signing of the club of the summer.

Slovak international striker Róbert Boženík has signed for Stoke City.

The 25-year-old former Feyenoord striker joins the Portuguese side FC Boavista on a three-year contract.

Boženík is covered by his country 52 times, including four performances at the European Championship Final in 2024 and scored seven goals.

He won the prestigious Peter Dubovsky Award for the best young football player in Slovakia in 2019, was Boavista's player of the season in 23/24 and scored 26 goals in 87 Starts during his time in Holland, Germany and Portugal.

Sports director Jonathan Walters said: “Robert is a player we have followed for a while. He is a hard -working, selfless striker with international experience and the quality to have a real impact here.

“We are happy that we decided to bring him to different clubs, from top competitions, which were strongly interested in him.

“He is intelligent, versatile and brings a real team-first mentality both in and out.

“He represents the kind of character and work ethic that we want in our team, and the type of player that appreciates our supporters and wants to see the shirt wearing.”

Bozenik, the sixth signing of the summer of the summer, added: “Stoke City supporters can be sure that I will always work very hard for the team and will never stop trying to find ways to score goals.
