Takehiro Tomiyasu has undergone a successful operation on the right knee that he has sustained for the first time in the preseason.
Despite a first surgical procedure in August, followed by a return to full training, and as a replacement in our Home Premier League match against Southampton in October, Tomi continued to have problems with his knee, which resulted in a further corrective surgical procedure.
Tomi now starts with his recovery and rehabilitation program, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
