According to Leicester City, the club gladly confirmed the signing of experienced goalkeeper ASMIR Begovic, who joins Leicester City with a one -year contract, subject to a clearing of competition.
The 38-year-old brought it 2024/25 season with Everton and previously played for Queens Park Rangers under our current manager Martà Cifuentes, with 46 times for the London side in all competitions during the 2023/24 campaign.
He said to LCFC.com: “I feel really excited. It is a pleasure to be here and a great honor to become a member of such a great club. I can't wait to get started. It is not every day that a club gets contact about participating. Hopefully we can have an exciting season where we can get back at the top of the table.”
63 times covered by Bosnia and Herzegovina, ASMIR has spent a large part of his career in England and appeared for Portsmouth, Stoke City, Chelsea and AFC Bournemouth and registered 256 performances in the Premier League.
He now brings that enormous experience to the goalkeeper ranges in Leicester City, where he will join his new teammates prior to our last season against Fiorentina at King Power Stadium on Sunday 3 August (3 pm BST kick-off).
