Tom Heaton has signed a new one -year contract with Manchester United.
The graduated Academy goes in a remarkable 20th season of his professional career after his debut in Swindon Town, while he is on loan from United in 2005.
Heaton continues to play an important leading role in the team since they returned to the club in 2021.
The experienced keeper has three England caps and was called in the Euro 2024 team to support the group as a goalkeeper training.
Tom Heaton said: “I am extremely proud of continuing to represent Manchester United. As a group we are all really enthusiastic for the coming season.
“I am ready to support the team in every capacity, while we are preparing to return to a challenge for the greatest awards.”
Director of Voetbal, Jason Wilcox said: “Tom's leadership and experience are really important for the group, so we are happy that he will be part of the team again next season.
“Tom's mentality and excellent preparation to ensure that he is always ready to perform when he is called, makes him the perfect addition to our goalkeeper group.”
