OFFICIAL: West Ham’s Lucas Paquetá Cleared of Misconduct Charges by FA

West Ham United can confirm that an independent regulatory committee has cleared Lucas Paquetá of misconduct that have been submitted against him by the Football Association for alleged infringements of Fa Rule E5. The club has been Lucas since the start of a long and difficult process.

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady said: “We are happy that Lucas has been cleaned up. He has maintained his innocence from the start, and as a club we have resolutely stood with him and supported him throughout the entire process. Despite the incredible pressure on him, Lucas has a week in it and he is a line for the Linie of the Linie.”

Lucas Paquetá said: “Since the first day of this study, I have maintained my innocence to these extremely serious accusations. I can't say anything at the moment, but I would like to express how grateful I am for God and how enthusiastic I am to play with a smile on my face. For everything.”

West Ham United will not give any further comments at the moment.
