According to the official statement, Will Lankshear joined the Oxford United Championship on loan for the 2025/26 campaign.
Will participation in the club's academy in August 2022, Will made his competitive first team debut in October 2024, with a UEFA Europa League win in Ferencvaros.
The striker then made three performances in that competition and scored his first senior goal in our competition phase road to Galatasaray. He has made six senior performances for us in all competitions so far.
The 20-year-old brought loan in West Bromwich Albion in the second half of last season and got valuable experience in the championship because he was shown 11 times before the baggies.
Will, a key figure in the title-winning side of our title of our under-representation in 2023/24, Will was declared Premier League 2 player of the season at the end of that campaign and represented England on both under-19 and under-20 levels.
