The matches for the new season – where Liverpool will watch to defend their titlative crown – have now been released, with clubs knowing who they will be confronted and roughly when.

Of course, a considerable part of the calendar is subject to the TV planning gods, so that some competitions will be shifted. However, the timings for Matchweek One are decided and there are some striking luminaires.

Reigning champion Liverpool will start the new campaign when they organize Bournemouth on 15 August in Friday evening football. The visit of Manchester City to Wolves heads Saturday, while the first game of Arsenal is coming in a trip to Manchester United.

In fact, the Gunners have a nightmare start, also opposite Liverpool and City within their first five games. There are no boxing day competitions as it looks now, although this can change when the TV luminaires are announced.

The last day will come on 24 May, with all 10 games that day start at 4 p.m. when the title race, European qualification and relegation are determined. Mirror Football has set out all 38 game week below to view the schedules of all 20 teams.
