Old Trafford legend’s twin sons combine for two goals as Man United’s Under 21s thrash West Brom

Manchester United's Under 21 Side Thrashed West Bromwich Albion 5-1 in the Premier League 2 on Friday and there was a well-known name on the score sheet.

Two of United's goals were scored by Jack Fletcher, son of the old Trafford legend Darren Fletcher -who won 13 trophies between 2003 and 2015 during his 342 -game Red Devils career.

It is remarkable that both Jack goals were assisted by twin brother Tyler Fletcher.

Proud father Darren – who played 97 times for West Brom after leaving United in 2015 – watched Friday's game from the stands in Leigh Sports Village.

Jack and Tyler followed in their father's footsteps by signing their first professional contracts in April last year at United.

The boys put the pen on paper after turning 17, after they have made the switch from Rivals Man City in the summer of 2023 in a deal worth £ 1.25 million.

At the time, Darren worked as a technical director as part of the back room staff of Erik ten Hag.

After the resignation of ten HAG in October last year, the former Scotland International now holds the role of coaching the first team among the new boss Ruben Amorim.

Jack and Tyler – who will celebrate their 18th birthdays next week – have previously become Scotland together for Scotland.

However, Jack has since changed faith to represent England, where he and his twin brother or sister were born.

Neither of the players has made their senior debut for United, but Jack was an unused sub in Thursday's 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad.
