Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2: Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and more predict heavyweight rematch

Old and new boxing stars share their picks for Oleksandr Uysk vs Tyson Fury 2.

The heavyweight duo will have a rematch on Saturday evening at the Kingdom Arena in Ridyah, Saudi Arabia.

In May, they clashed in a historic fight to crown the first-ever four-belt heavyweight champion. Oleksandr Usyk scored a ninth-round knockdown en route to a split-decision victory to set up a huge rematch with Tyson Fury.

The boxing community is divided over who will take home the WBO, WBA and WBC titles this weekend.

Mike Tyson leads a long list of legends excited about Usyk vs Fury 2

Mike Tyson: “Usyk is the best heavyweight in the world right now. But I'm rooting for Fury to beat him. Why? Because I'm a fan. Because his father gave him my name. I will not abandon him now.”

Lennox Lewis: “I can't go against Usyk. Oleksandr Usyk has proven himself time and time again and he is still undefeated. It really comes down to who boxes the best. Who is smart in the ring? I didn't think Tyson Fury was smart in the first fight.

“I think [Fury] played a little too much and allowed Oleksandr Usyk to really pile up the points. Oleksandr Usyk is a difficult opponent. He's moving all the time, he's always throwing punches, he's in top form and that's hard to beat.”

Anthony Joshua: “I think it will be a tough fight in the beginning and then I feel like Usyk will bounce back. He is a class operator and I feel like Usyk is one of the best around. That's why I think he'll win.”

Daniel Dubois: “I still support Fury. I hope our guy does it. Usyk is capable. Fury should jump on him and choke him out. Fury is a slick boxer too, but it will be a great fight and I will call on the winner.”

Derek Chisora: “[Usyk] is still the same, brother. It will be a good fight, we will see a little difference, but you have to understand that Tyson will be a little different, but Usyk will be a little different. [as well]. But now that the scales are tipping, my money is still on Usyk.”

Joseph Parker: “I think Tyson's mentality has changed going into this fight. I think if you have a different mindset, it can bring about a lot of changes. I believe Tyson can beat Usyk on a points decision, but it's a tough call. “I'm siding with Tyson, but I think it's a points decision.”

Michael Moorer: “I think Usyk will stop him. Probably in the 10th or 11th round I think Usyk will win.

Oscar De La Hoya: “I really see this fight as a 50/50 fight, but I have to give the edge to Tyson Fury.”

Zhilei Zhang: “The same result. I believe Usyk will use his boxing skills and ring IQ. You know, skill pays the bill. He is a great warrior.”

Tyson Fury's big sacrifice ahead of Oleksandr Usyk's rematch

Tyson Fury recently revealed he has left no stone unturned as he looks to bounce back from his first career defeat.

The 34-1-1 Englishman claims he did not speak to his wife or see his children during the fight camp.

“I will end his career, this will be, you will never hear about Oleksandr Usyk again after this,” Fury said.

“It's been a long camp. I haven't seen my wife and children in three months.

'I haven't spoken [my wife] not at all within 3 months. Not a word, much sacrificed. But it will all be worth it. 100 percent.”
