The future of Paul Pogba (32) remains unclear after the World Cup winner 2018 was allowed to resume his football career after his doping ban that was reduced from four years to 18 months.
The Frenchman, a free agent who follows the decision of him and Juventus to separate through mutual permission, has reached interest from the MLS and also Japan. Pogba was seen in an FC match in Los Angeles, where he was reunited with his former international teammate, Olivier Giroud.
Giroud made the switch to the US after his contract with AC Milan had expired at the end of last season. However, the striker cannot follow Pogba in his footsteps, because he told Téléfoot: “I was really happy to see him, but I think he should get used to staying in Europe. To be honest with you, I think he has that ambition.”
This is perhaps the interest of Olympique de Marseille recovering in the former player of Manchester United. The club had considered a movement this season, but was put off by fitness problems. However, if he is still available in the summer, Marseille can watch to gauge his interest in the project.
