Ollie Watkins has attracted interest from the entire Premier League, where Aston Villa is reluctant to sell the English star before he succeeds in finding a replacement
Aston Villa has the signing of Evann Guess and asked for further questions about the future of Ollie Watkins. A number of Premier League clubs have explored the prospect this summer to land England -striker Watkins, but every movement was thought that he was without replacement of the table.
Ivorian international GIS and could be that replacement. The 24-year-old, who can play on the front line, is a member of Nice in a deal with a value of approximately £ 26 million.
He scored 12 goals in Ligue 1 last season, added nine assists and also scored once in the Europa League. The frontman, born in Corsica, pointed out of his decision to join Villa, pointed to the influence of manager Unai Emery.
“I watched the Aston Villa matches in the past seasons, and then we started talking to the coach,” Guessand told Club Media. “To be honest, our conversations were the most important point, because he really is the person who convinced me to come here, and of course we know the career of this coach.

Arsenal was connected to Watkins in January, but has since paid their attention to other goals, in which Viktor Gyokeres participated for north of £ 60 million. Manchester United is also enthusiastic, but are now ready to take Benjamin Sesko to Old Trafford.
One of those clubs could still decide that Watkins is still useful for them, while Newcastle remains an option. The magpies close on Yoane Wissa, according to Sky Sports, but can insist on a second attacking addition with Callum Wilson who joins West Ham and Alexander Isak, possibly still in line for a Liverpool switch.
Guessand is villa's fourth summer signing of the window. The young Dutch attacker Zepiqueno Redmond has joined Feyenoord, with Emery's side also adding goalkeeper Marco Bizot and Center -Back Yasin Ozcan – although the Turkish International immediately went on loan.
A number of Fringe players have left, permanently or on loan, while not qualifying for the Champions League Villa left to not conquer permanent deals for Loanese Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio from last season. Rashford is now a member of Barcelona on loan from Manchester United, while Asensio is back at Paris Saint -Germain parent club – at least for the time being.
