Manchester United has had first conversations with Aston Villa about Ollie Watkins, amidst Villas's interest in Alejandro Garnacho.
Watkins is one of a number of strikers that United has viewed together with others, including Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea and RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko.
Villa does not want to lose Watkins and is supposed to appreciate him in the £ 60 million region, but the interest in England No 9 is considered intensifying.
Villa enthusiastic about Garnacho but cannot meet the asking price
Villa is now enthusiastic about Garnacho, a player who wants to sell United, but they are supposed to be unable to get their current asking price to buy it downright.
Garnacho's preference is to stay in the Premier League and to play in the Champions League, but such a movement has not yet been attacked despite some interest from Chelsea.
All potential deals for the two players would be separated, but the sale of a player for Villa could possibly help them pay Garnacho.
United's focus is now on the sale of players after buying Bryan Mbeumo for £ 71 million from Brentford.
After Marcus Rashford arrived at Barcelona, United works on outputs for Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia – as well as Garnacho.
