Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo will be on the sidelines for some time after suffering a muscle injury during training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this morning.
Tests revealed that the player's right calf muscle is strained, which will keep him out of action for the next few days. Barca's medical staff did not indicate how long Olmo will be out, but confirmed he will sit out Tuesday's Champions League match against Benfica – the penultimate match of the group stage.

Olmo will be re-evaluated later this week. Barcelona's next league match is against Valencia at home next Sunday.
The Spanish international was a substitute in the league match against Getafe on Saturday. He entered the field in the 62nd minute as a substitute for Gavi and finished the match.
The Hansi Flick men went back to training this morning to prepare for a busy week. Tomorrow morning the team will fly to Lisbon for the match against Benfica. The team will train in the afternoon at the Estadio Da Luz stadium, prior to the coach's press conference.
