Onana set for Saudi transfer as Amorim eyes two of Europe’s hottest keepers

Manchester United is ready to run Andre Onana on Saudi Arabia as Ruben Amorim -eyes two of Europe's most popular young keepers.

But the red Devils boss will have to rinse it with Pep Guardiola with Man City, also looking for a new stop.

Both Manchester clubs were able to lose their first choice no. 1 to the Saudi Pro League at the end of the season with United's Onana and City's Ederson for the Middle East.

Guardiola and Amorim started watching potential replacements – and the same names at the top of each desired list.

Royal Antwerp's highly rated Stop Senne Lammens is on the radar of a large number of Premier League clubs, with Newcastle and West Ham also sharp.

Lille's brilliant 23-year-old goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier has been followed for months by United and City.

Lammens, 22, has about £ 30 million after cracking on stage.

He recently made the Belgium team, despite the fact that he made fewer than 50 first team performances.

His distribution and ability with the ball at his feet make him an ideal 'Guardiola-style' keeper, while Chevalier has similar qualities.

City has regularly carried out checks on Lammens, who was broken into the first team of Lille and was excellent in the recent loss of Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.

Chevalier – just like Lammens – has been contracted until 2027, but sources claim that the French club Lille would be willing to do business for around £ 40 million.

Ederson, 31, has long been associated with a move to Saudi, and City will not stand in the way of the Brazilian if he wants to leave after eight years.

Although that would open the door for Stefan Ortega to finally settle as Etihad First Choice, the German stop admitted that he will also consider his options.

Ortega has just been broken into the international team at 32 and wants to consolidate with regular football – which is never guaranteed in City.

Although City would always hunt another keeper in the summer, it was not a obvious position that United was planning to fill.

Yet Onana has made this term a series of mistakes.

And if Saudi interest rate becomes a solid offer, Amorim would make it a priority.
