Manchester United will be confronted on 22 May with Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final. Before the game, André Onana spoke with the official media of the club.
Onana said:
“For me it is a huge honor and a privilege. My first Europa League final was against Manchester United when I was at Ajax, to be back in the final – this time with United – is incredible.”
“We are familiar with the stadium after our match against Athletic Bilbao. It is a great location with a good atmosphere. We have won there, and that is precisely why we are going back – we are excited and hope to win again.”
“This has been a very difficult season for all of us. But it has also been a time to learn – some of us may experience this kind of season for the first time in our career. Now we have an important chance, and we have to grab it. This competition cannot make the season, but at least we can give some joy to the fans.”
