At UFC Tampa on Saturday, 15-year veteran Michael Johnson scored one of the most vicious KOs of the year when he defeated Ottman Azaitar in the second round of their featured preliminary bout.
Michael Johnson is one of the longest standing fighters still competing in the UFC, with victories over the likes of Edson Barboza and Dustin Poirier.
Ottman Azaitar, on the other hand, wanted to turn around the unfortunate past years, having suffered the first two defeats of his career in his last two matches.
The 'Bulldozer' is probably best known for his antics during UFC 257 fight week, as his scheduled fight against Matt Frevola was canceled and he was suspended after violating COVID-19 protocols after allowing a teammate to carry a suitcase into his fight hotel had been smuggled into the room.

Michael Johnson viciously knocks out Ottman Azaitar in round two
Despite being 38 years old, 'The Menace' continues to hold his own at the top of the UFC lightweight division, returning to victory in the preliminary round of UFC Tampa.
After a relatively close round in which Johnson seemed headed for trouble, he began to feel his way into the fight towards the end of the round.
Going into the second round, the veteran probably knew that the longer the fight lasted, the bigger the advantage he had over the power puncher, Azaitar.
However, two minutes into the second round, Johnson landed a huge counter overhand right that immediately put Azaitar to sleep as he worryingly face-planted the floor.
The referee couldn't intervene quickly enough and Johnson ended the fight with a couple of huge punches to the already ice-cold 34-year-old Moroccan.
Michael Johnson calls out Michael Chandler and then changes his mind
Johnson is likely to find himself $50,000 richer after his incredible knockout, having previously won just four performance-based bonuses.
Despite being 38 years old and having lately suffered the unfortunate trend of winning one and then losing one, 'The Menace' has no plans to end his career.
While he didn't make a specific call after his incredible KO of Azaitar, he did mention a few lightweights he'd like to share the Octagon with.
“This is my promotion. I don't care where I am on the card. I've been in this business for 15 years. I've seen it all. I'm the UFC when it comes to actually fighting here.” he said in his Octagon interview.
“I'm 38 and I'm not going to stop anytime soon. I'm going right back to the top, honey. I always have to grab the microphone and shout out to people. I have a teammate I wanted to call, Bobby Green, Drew Dober.
“I wanted to call Michael Chandler because he always yells with his mouth, but he's my man so I'm not going to mess with him,” he continued.
