Osasuna fire back at ineligible player ruling and Barcelona –

Osasuna has announced that they will appeal against the ruling on whether Barcelona called in a non-intended player against them during their meeting on 24 March, which ended 3-0 from the Blaugrana. They filed a complaint because of the presence of Inigo Martinez, who, according to them, was contrary to FIFA instructions.

On Friday afternoon, however, the Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) ruled in the case against Osasuna. Los Rojillo responded with an official statement and noted that they would appeal to the decision.

In their original reasoning, they claimed that there was no evidence that the RFEF Martinez investigated and released for medical reasons, and now they say that there was no explicit communication from the Spanish national team to abandon the law. They also say that although their player Bryan Zaragoza was obliged to attend Las Rozas for medical research, since it was not possible to be performed on time by Osasuna, that is, before 13:00 on March 17, Martinez was not examined by La Roja employees.

However, they say that the RFEF accepted Barcelona's insurance that they would perform the complementary tests based on an e -mail that was sent on 02:33 on the same day at 02:33, without any medical report. Neither a medical report appeared in the ruling. They say they will bring the case to the Court of Appeal.

They also had some strong words for Barcelona's own characterization of the judicial process that was undertaken against them and did not hold back.

The entity expresses its surprise about FC Barcelona's remark that “it is inappropriate for a club with the history of Club Atletico Osasuna” to express suspicions of possible fraud when it is reasonable to cherish serious doubts in the light of the facts described. It is amazing that the aforementioned comment, as cynical as it is empty in content, comes from those who would be wise to revise their actions during the most recent period in the history of FC Barcelona.

In disagreing with the resolution that is known today, Club Atletico Osasuna will appeal to the appeal committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, an institution that has a clear involvement in the aforementioned case.
