If Arsenal loses on Wednesday Van Crystal Palace in the Premier League, Liverpool is crowned champion, but Mikel Arteta says that this is not an extra incentive to win.
The Gunners are 13 points of the leaders with five more games left, which means that even if they beat Palace, they will miss the title for the third consecutive season if the Reds will beat Tottenham on Sunday.
Arsenal is unbeaten in their last 11 games in all competitions (W6 D5) and returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 4-0 win over the city of Ipswich on Sunday, so that Liverpool denies a chance to claim the title later that day.
The Side of Arteta also has a semi-final of the Champions League that will come against Paris Saint-Germain next week, but the Spaniard does not think of rotation, with its complete focus on renewing the Liverpool title celebrations.
“Our incentive is to win our game and to do our best to continue with our run in which we are now, we can't control the rest,” he said.
“[We have to] Earn the right to win the game [on Wednesday] Against a really good side.
“They also have a really good record away from home, and then we have time to prepare for [for PSG] Really good. “

Arteta also confirmed that the injury of Bukayo Saka was “nothing serious” and that he should be available for Wednesday's game.
This match has been brought forward because of the involvement of Palace at the FA Cup semi -final against Aston Villa on Saturday, but their form has stalled in recent weeks.
Since their quarter-final victory over Fulham, the Eagles have won only one of their five Premier League matches (L2 D2).
Last weekend with Bournemouth they went with Bournemouth, despite the broadcasting of Chris Richards, a much -needed clean lei after admitting five goals against both Manchester City and Newcastle United for that.
On Wednesday, Eddie Nketiah will return to the Emirates after his transfer last year, and Oliver Glasner admitted that he feels “sad” that his effort has not seen any more rewards.
“It is not time to summarize Eddie's season, but he is so hardworking,” said Glasner. “Sometimes I feel a bit sad for him, personally, when I see all his trouble.
“It seems that sometimes things don't go well for him. I see him working every day.
“And there will come a day when he is paid for all his efforts. For me it feels like they have not come so far.”
