Ousmane Dembele pays tribute to Diogo Jota with heartfelt celebration after scoring in Club World Cup

Ousmane Dembele became the newest football player who paid his respect to Diogo Jota with his goal celebration on Saturday evening.

The Parisian Saint-Germain striker minked Jota's trademark gaming celebration after switching in the 2-0 World-Cup quarterfinals victory on his side on Bayern Munich.

The tribute was flooded from the entire football world for Jota, 28, and his brother Andre Silva, 26, after their tragic dead in the early hours of Thursday morning.

His former Liverpool teammates and manager Arne Slot were present on Saturday at his funeral in Gondomar, Portugal.

Former Portugal teammate Pedro Neto showed a shirt in tribute to the couple before the 2-1 victory of Chelsea over Palmeiras, while Joao Annulso and Ruben Neves with tears Wellden for the 2-1 defeat of Al-Hilal by Fluminse.

Dembele and Jota were never teammates, but the Frenchman still wanted to remember him and copied the gaming celebration that the Liverpool star famous after scoring a 94th minute winner against Tottenham in 2023.
