
Chelsea and Manchester City Thugs have to hand over their passports to the police before the FIFA Club World Cup in America starts – and can even be banned to go on vacation
More than 100 football hooligans from Chelsea and Manchester City have been banned to travel to the FIFA Club World Cup this summer. Violent followers of the two Premier League giants have been instructed to give up their passports prior to the new tournament in America.
The strict travel restrictions apply to Chelsea and City Hooligans with a football ban. They can be imprisoned for six months if they do not surrender their passports between 9 June and 13 July. The football villains must request a special permission to even go on holiday to another country.
About 150 hooligans that are affected by the measure are contacted by the Football Banning Orders Authority.
32 clubs participate in the new extensive competition, which sees them compete to become crowned world club champions. As recent winners of the Champions League, Chelsea and City qualified to represent England and the Premier League.
Police Minister Diana Johnson said she wants real fans to “safely and enjoyable” to the US. But she added: “For the small minority of Herrieschoppers who use football as an excuse for crime, we will apply the same proven preventive measures that we have successfully done for other overseas tournaments.
“As part of the Safer Streets Mission and the government's plan for change, we will continue to fight the hooligan -so that the vast majority can go to football without any problems.”
A similar arrangement during the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany saw 99 percent of those who are subject to a prohibition order and give up their passports.

During the 2023/24 season, the police made 2,584 football -related arrests and 825 new prohibitions were issued. There are currently more than 2,000 football ban that is currently in force in England and Wales.
