More than 1,400 supporters from Arsenal have signed an online petition in which the club is encouraged to leave his striving for Chelsea wing player Noni Madueke.
The petition, launched on Change.org under the hashtag #notomadueke, states that Arsenal deserves more ambitious signing sessions in a breakthrough
“Arsenal -fans deserve better … we are so close to success,” reads the petition, adding that instead of strengthening the existing team, Arsenaal risks that errors from the past repeat by signing “MediOcre” players such as Madueke and Viktor Gyökeres. Supporters demand the club “Show some ambition” and “pay back the fans” for decades of loyalty.
Fan comments on the Petition Echo This sentiment. A user from New York noticed:
“20+ years of relentless support and this is how we are reimbursed? Secondary signing sessions with zero ambition … Don't ruin it with no idea transfers.”
Another wrote:
“This is a gross abuse of funds and continuing to hand over surplus money to rivals must be investigated.”
The petition was launched on July 9, 2025 and had collected around 1,491 verified signatures early today
