Molly McCann called it a career after he had a shocking loss at UFC London on Saturday evening.
'Meatball' has good memories of fighting in London. In March 2022 she supplied one of the best rotating knockouts in the history of the MMA for women to blow the roof of the O2 Arena.
Molly McCann could not replicate that performance against the opponent of late replacement, Alexia Thainara, who literally danced to the cage before scored a huge victory in her debut in MMA's most important promotion.
UFC London will be the last time that Fight fans can see how McCann can compete in the Octagon.

Molly McCann tapped by UFC Debutant
A provisional opening round burst into life when Alexia Thainara insured a Takedown after a minute.
McCann hammered with elbows from the bottom and hunted the submission of her back.
The Liverpudlian has fully committed itself to an attempt at an arm bar, but it failed a counterproductive and she ended up.
Thainara went to the back and locked a coded choke entry, which McCann initially defended.
In the end, McCann was forced to tap when Thainara again adjusted her grip with 30 seconds on the clock.
Molly McCann is retiring
McCann took out her gloves to indicate a pension before her last loss was officially confirmed.
During an interview after the fight with Michael Bisping, McCann confirmed that she did it with MMA.
Paddy Pimblett, her old teammate, was seen in tears while she made her enormous announcement.
“UFC, Dana, Hunter, Mick, F —— – Hell, all of you,” McCann started.
“I started this sport at 24 hours, I walked into that gym with these three boys and I gave you all my F ——— – Heart and Soul, but tonight with that performance with someone in a week, it's not good enough, I don't just come here for a payment day, the UFC earns more, I earn more, I earn more and you all earn more.
“So from this little girl from Norris Green, who has to fight in these great arenas, thank you very much, look at the little girls who look at me at home, see what I was able to do, only two hands and two elbows and I had a good course.
“Thank you very much and Dana, if you ever need an ambassador to fly through Europe, I am good on the beer, I can talk to someone to sign a new deal, so thanks and goodnight UFC.”
