Paddy Pimblett made an enormous weight reduction to make the biggest fight for his career officer on Friday morning.
The popular lightweight competition Pimblett is known for its absurd body transformations, including once ballooning to heavyweight from the camp before he returns to 156LB. Tonight he is facing Michael Chandler on UFC 314 and had to make that limit, which turned out to be difficult on Thursday evening.
As soon as Pimblett had arrived, he immediately started eating as much as possible, chewing on ice, pancakes and bagels in an attempt to take weight quickly. He documented the entire process on his YouTube channel.
Paddy Pimblett lost 14 pounds in one night before UFC 314
In a video that documented his weight cutting process prior to UFC 314, Paddy Pimblett showed the whole of his horrible cut to 156LB. He leaves a video of the same species free for all his most important fights, which shows how demolition the process is for hunters.
After an intense path in a sweat suit at 7.45 pm on Thursday evening, he tapped the scales just over 169 pounds. This meant that he had to lose between 13 and 14 pounds, and just over 12 hours to do it.
As such, he went to the bath and sweats a huge amount of weight, while he did not take food or water next to it. It was a brutal cut, but he was able to spend the time by calling his wife Laura Gregory who struggled with travel issues that came to Miami.
He was eventually able to sleep with about four pounds, to the lightweight limit and was one of the first hunters on the scales. Despite all the talk about his weight gain from the camp, he never seemed close to missing weight for one of his octagonal trips.

Immediately after that hardcore weight weight, the first thing in the spirit of Pimblett was refueling with as much food as he could get hold of. He quickly started with some fruit and a bagel, but then went directly to pancakes that were topped in syrup and bananas.

Then he and the team on his way to ice where he took four scoops, of which he insisted it was good food for his supplement. “It has a nice amount of calories in it,” he told the cameras as he spends tasting.
“It's full of carbohydrates, what Paul wants me to eat, but it is also refreshing … Very refreshing.” He then went home where he prepared for ceremonial weightings and the last face-off with Chandler prior to their fight.
