Paddy Pimblett touts massive career change with UFC title win over Ilia Topuria

Paddy Pimblett saw itself abandoning the lightweight division after the disguise of Ilia Topuria.

The #10-ranking UFC light weight is still a way to be the #1 candidate, but Pimblett is poet than ever at a UFC title after he has been rejected with new champion Ilia Topuria on UFC 317.

Topuria and Pimblett were heated for years before Topuria won the lightweight title with a Ko by Charles Oliveira. Pimblett, a competent grappler, claims that he is the 'Kryptonite' of the undefeated hunter and said he would finish Topuria in the distance.

Just like Topuria, Pimblett has previously fought in his career against bantamweight and featherweight before he decides to go to the lightweight division.

Now a two -division champion, Topuria has recently considered a switch to the Welterweight Division, just like his potential next challenger Pimblett.

Pimblett is probably one win or phone call away from title conflicts.

If Pimblett is the man who takes Topuria's undefeated record, 'The Baddy' has entertained the idea of increasing a weight class for a second world title.

'[Eventually] If I win the belt, go upstairs and win another belt, “Pimblett said on the podcast of Chattin” Pony.

“There are a few fights on 170 that interest me,” Pimblett added.

“They can be good fighting …

“But for now I am just aimed at winning the lightweight belt,” said Pimblett.

Pimblett surprised fans with his weight transformation earlier this year, when the lightweight went to 198 pounds in a matter of weeks of 156 pounds.

Paddy Pimblett says he wants to become an actor after UFC pension

Pimblett does not intend to fight forever.

At the point of his first title option, Pimblett still has many fights in him at the age of 30. But what happens to 'The Baddy' when the gloves eventually come loose?

It turns out that Pimblett might be on his way to Hollywood after his fighting career is over.

“That is exactly what I want to do when I am retired. Start acting a bit,” Pimblett revealed.

Various MMA hunters have found success in the acting world, such as Gina Carano and Randy Couture. Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson once rejected a UFC fight because he wanted to be part of 'The A-Team' (2010).

Two-time UFC Middleweight Israel Adesanya says that he has rejected acting roles in franchises such as 'Black Panther' and 'Creed' to concentrate on his first UFC title rule.
