UFC Lightweight Competier Jared Gordon earned a candidate 'Knock -Out of the Year' at UFC Vegas 106.
If Jared Gordon still wants to run it back with Paddy Pimblett in the Octagon, he made a strong thing for a future Rematch with his show at UFC Vegas 106.
Gordon and colleague UFC veterinarian Thiago Moises helped to kick the action on a stacked map on UFC Vegas 106. The map was covered with a good weight collision between contenders Gilbert Burns and Michael Morales.
Gordon went into a must-win situation on Saturday in a must-win situation, after Winless-Doonenonen in three of his previous four fights. Gordon not only broke his recent losing skid, he did it in style with one of the most horrible knockouts of 2025.

Jared Gordon argues for future Paddy Pimblett Rematch on UFC Vegas 106
Gordon and Moises started quickly at UFC Vegas 106, where Gordon received an early removal and checked Moises on the ground. But Moises, a brilliant Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu player, could get out of trouble and eventually work his way back to his feet.
When the fight came back to the feet, it was all-gordon.
Gordon and Moises returned to the center of the Achthoek and landed a number of heavy shots before Gordon prevented Moises with an upper hand on the right that landed on the chin of his opponent. Moises was hardly conscious when he fell to the canvas before Gordon sealed the deal with vicious ground and pound strikes.
The victory was Gordon's second first round finish during his last three fights, dating from a first round knockout by Mark Madsen on UFC 295. Madsen announced his retirement after the loss against Gordon.
It was a disappointing setback for Moises after a unanimous decision victory over Trey Ogden in January to start 2025 in a great tone. The former rival of Islam Makhachev has lost three of his last five fights with the defeat against Gordon.

Paddy Pimblett jumped just a few weeks after the UFC 314 win in the light heavyweight
Gordon had a rough attempt for the victory over Moises since a controversial loss for Pimblett on UFC 282. After having defined the jury's scorecards against Pimblett, a knockout loss for Bobby Green was destroyed into a contest due to a chance clash of heads.
Since the Gordon fight, Pimblett has started the lightweight title mix after recent victories over Michael Chandler and Green. Pimblett defeated TKO Chandler on UFC 314 to record the title interview.
But despite fighting on a higher platform than ever before, Pimblett does not withdraw from some of his questionable habits outside the cage. Only a few weeks after beating Chandler, Pimblett won about 50 pounds with a drastic weight gain that fans concerned.
While Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira are preparing to fight for the liberated title of Makhachev, Pimblett makes a strong thing to fight the UFC 317 winner. Pimblett and Topuria share a hostile past, which return to their Fighter Hotel Dust-Up in 2022.
