Head coach of Crystal Palace, Oliver Glasner, says that things should improve on the entire field prior to their journey to Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
Palace was hit 2-1 at home by Everton Last Time Out, a result that left them 13th in the table.
“It's frustrating. We had a similar match against Brentford where we made the first big mistake, “said Glasner.
“It is important for us to learn from these games. It is my job to give the players better solutions in games.
“We need better solutions in the last third part. We have found our wingbacks quite often, but then the first or second touch was not good enough to pass the ball early enough.
“In both games against Everton it is decided by small details. It is difficult and difficult to accept, but we have to accept it and find better solutions to control these games.
“We hadn't lost. It is up to us to learn from it and improve our performance against teams that play in this way. “
Fulham boss Marco Silva now hopes for more of the same after they have defeated Nottingham Forest in Craven Cottage last weekend.
In this competition, the hosts will be eighth in the Premier League table and are four points outside the top six.
After his recent form, Silva has reserved praise for wing player Adama Traore, after the Spaniard had offered an assist against forest.
“I am really happy for him, it was a great cross and he had opportunities to score and I see the Adama nice as we saw,” he said.
“He was in balance and I don't remember a ball that he gave away. The assist was great.
“During the game he was much more involved in everything and this is how I want to see him because his capacity is almost unstoppable and we have to give him the tools to play.”

Fulham – Alex Iwobi
This season Iwobi has created 46 chances in the Premier League, all of Open Play-Lake than any other player this season without one of them coming from a set piece.
The 28-year-old is in second place in the Fulham team for target statements with 10 (seven goals, three assists). He had 24 shots in his last 10 games and scored two goals.
Crystal Palace-Jean-Philippe Mateta
Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored five goals in his last three Premier League matches, so that brackets are delivered against West Ham and Manchester United in his last two of such trips.
Only three players have scored only several goals in three consecutive appearances – Dennis Bergkamp in September 1997, Harry Kane in September 2017 and Mohamed Salah in December 2024.
Mateta scored out of matches in his last three and the first Crystal Palace player ever in four in a row on the road in the Premier League was able to become.
Match -Prepeling: Fulham Win
Prior to their 3-2 defeat against West Ham in mid-January, Fulham was unbeaten in their previous 10 London Derbies. In Craven Cottage they are unbeaten in Zeven (W4 D3) against other teams from London.
In the meantime, Palace has won only one of their last 14 road from London Derbies (D6 L7) in 2023 and 2024.
Despite beating West Ham in their last such competition, they have not won back-to-back London Derbies since 1997-98.
Fulham comes to have won three games on the spider in all competitions and five of their last seven. They have only lost one of their last eight games in Craven Cottage.
