Palmeiras president Leila Pereira claims that she provided Endrick's problems after a conversation with Real Madrid chef Florentino Perez before his move was completed.
Endrick made the switch to the Spanish capital in July and signed a six -year contract with Los Blancos in a deal of reportedly € 47.5 million.
The career of the 18-year-old at Madrid started positively and scored a goal in a 3-0 home victory at Real Valladolid in his debut, which immediately made him loved by the supporters.
Because of his attack, he became the youngest foreign player who scored for the club in their LaLiga history (18 years and 35 days), with which he surpassed Raphael Varane (18 years and 152 days).
Endrick also scored during his first Champions League performance, making it the youngest player from Madrid and Brazil who found the back of the net in the competition.
But since then he has difficulty expanding his impressive start. He only scored four goals in twenty games in all competitions, which amounts to just 317 minutes of action.
Although Pereira knew that the Brazilian would have trouble winning playing time in the stars -lined attack by Carlo Ancelotti, she did not hesitate that he will have a successful career in Madrid.
'We had foreseen that [Endrick’s lack of playing time]. He is very young, a young talent, but it is difficult for a child to come from Brazil and immediately adapt, “she told The Athletic.
“He will be patient because he is very determined and focused. He will shine a lot for Real Madrid.”

Endrick is not the first controversial asset that Madrid makes from Brazil, where Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo also make the switch from Flamengo and Santos respectively.
Vinicius and Rodrygo both flourished in the Bernabeu, although both also experienced difficult first seasons in the Spanish capital.
The pressure on Endrick's shoulders was enormous and even greater when Madrid President Perez compared the teenager with the Brazilian greatness of Pele.
“Florentino Perez said to me:” Leila, I have learned that Endrick is better than Pele, “said Pereira.
“I told him,” calm, President, because no one else like Pele was ever born. “
