Argentina star Leandro Paredes has revealed that Lionel Messi had refused to talk to him for three months about a comment he made during a Champions League match.
Messi and Paredes are teammates at international level with Argentina and previously play together at PSG.
However, Paredes had angry the football legend when Messi played for Barcelona.
Messi's Barcelona lost to PSG in the Champions League of 2021 last 16, with Kylian Mbappe who inspired the French side to a 4-1 first leg lead.
PSG completed the task in a 1-1 draw in the return bone in the Parc des Princes.
During the game, Paredes had made a remark to his teammates, of which Messi had heard and incorrectly believed it was about him.
Paredes, who now plays for Roma, revealed in an interview with Infobae that Messi had given him the cold shoulder for three months before he broke the tension in international duty.

Paredes had previously claimed in 2022 that Messi “wanted to kill me” after the comment on Pitch, where the situation “wants to go home”.
