Barcelona returned to the 1:1 rule in La Liga on Friday, and this should lead to more transfer activity involving the Catalans. As such, this could also mean that there are significant sales taking place as well, and one player expected to be targeted is Alejandro Balde.
Left-back is a position Barcelona want to tackle in 2025 as they want Balde to have good competition for the 21-year-old, who has been disappointing this season. However, he could be on his way as Relevo have reported that Paris Saint-Germain are planning a move.
PSG is preparing for the possible departure of Nuno Mendes as contract talks have stalled in recent months. Manchester United want him, and if that deal goes through, Balde would be the main target for the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
Barcelona rates Balde very positively, despite his poor performances in recent months. It would be a surprise if PSG came close to signing him in the summer.
