Paris Saint-Germain deny Barcelona claims of €250m offer for Lamine Yamal
Earlier this year, Barcelona president Joan Laporta revealed that an unnamed club offered €250 million to sign Lamine Yamal. That offer was rejected, although there was speculation about who exactly submitted the proposal.
Enric Masip, advisor at Barcelona and also a close friend of Laporta, confirmed to El Chiringuito on Tuesday that it was Paris Saint-Germain who submitted the offer for the 17-year-old sensation.
However, this information is now denied by PSG itself. A club advisor has told L'Equipe (via Sport) that he has “categorically” rejected the claims and said no official move has been made towards signing Lamine Yamal.
Barcelona have absolutely no intention of selling Lamine Yamal, who they see as their most indispensable player. PSG are aware of this and according to the report, this is the reason why they did not make the right move to sign the Kopa Trophy winner.
