Data debrief: Missed an opportunity

With Inter also drawing, this could be the competition that sent the Scudetto race in favor of Napoli, but instead they staggered on the road again.

Napoli has only won two of their last eight in the Serie A (D5 L1), after five consecutive road victories.

And they certainly had their chances of winning it. They touched the woodwork three times on Sunday, the first time they have done this since April 2019 in Frosinone (a 2-0 win).

In general, they only created 0.38 expected goals (XG) and managed to get only two of their seven shots on goal.
