Paul Pogba gives honest verdict on Marcus Rashford’s Barcelona move as Man United outcast nears loan to Spanish giants

Former Manchester United -midfielder Paul Pogba has given his opinion about the approaching loan from Marcus Rashford to Barcelona.

In principle, there is an agreement for Rashford to join the Catalan outfit to a seasonal loan from Old Trafford.

The deal will contain an option for Barcelona to permanently sign the English international next summer.

Rashford was banned shortly after Ruben Amorim took the lead last season and it became clear that he has no future at Old Trafford under the Portuguese manager.

Pogba left United in 2022 and there are similarities between their two United Careers.

Speaking with YouTube star Ishowspeed on a boat for Bein Sports, the new one as a monaco star responded to the news.

'That's crazy, but I'm happy for him because they are [United] took his number. Manchester United losing a great player. Bad luck for them.

'It's great for Barcelona to be honest. I'm not even talking about United, because they have bought a few new players and the new manager wants to do his thing, I think.

'It's not really his [Amorim’s] debt. If he doesn't believe in anyone. He has to win. If he doesn't win, they will fire him. '

Rashford began to fall out of grace under Erik ten Hag before it got worse under the new Ruben Amorim manager.

The Englishman was banned by the Portuguese before he came on loan for the second half of the season at Aston Villa.

During his time in Villa, Rashford made 17 performances and scored four goals while giving six assists.

His current contract with United runs until the summer of 2028.

Barcelona will pay wages of Rashford during his loan movement all £ 315,000 a week.

The 27-year-old has trained so far in the prescription season of the United Squad in Carrington and is accompanied by Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.

Another sign of Rashford's upcoming departure from United came when his NO10 shirt was given earlier this month to the new signature Matheus Cunha.

Rashford played 426 games for United and scored 138 goals and he also offered 77 assists.

He won the FA Cup and the EFL Cup twice and the Europa League once.
