Paul Pogba’s search for new club as manager confirms talks with ex-Man Utd star

Paul Pogba is supported to return to the highest level by France head coach Didier Deschamps – despite the inability of the former Midfielder of Manchester United to find a club since he completed his doping ban.

Les Bleus Chief Deschamps has been in contact with Pogba in recent weeks after the World Cup winner served a suspension of 18 months for taking a forbidden substance that led to an increased level of testosterone.

He initially received a ban on four years, but the Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced it after appeal and discovered that the violation was “not intentional.”

Pogba – who was 32 years old on Saturday – was allowed to officially return to action last week, although he would have been free since earlier this year to train with a new club. However, he is still waiting for a deal with a new club.

Rumors about a third stint with United have worn little content and he was recently associated with a switch to Major League Soccer, including Inter Miami by David Beckham.

Pogba is determined to play for France again and Deschamps is willing to keep the door open as soon as he can first prove his form for a new club.

“He should be able to play again, but he doesn't have a club. We talk, and I will not tell you the details, “DESchamps said to Croatia next week prior to France's two -legged UEFA Nations League quarterfinals next week.

“Yes, he has the ability and mentality to return to the highest level. It will not happen overnight, but he has not made a decision at the moment. We will see. “

Pogba has shared images of itself in training on social media with intervals with a series of cryptic captions.

And after his ban was reduced last year, he said: “The nightmare is finally over and I can look forward to the day on which I can follow my dreams again and again.

“I have always stated that I have never consciously violated anti-doping regulations, I play with integrity … and I want to thank the court of arbitration that my explanation has heard.

“This has been a hugely disturbing period in my life, everything I have worked so hard has been put on hold. “Thanks for all love and support again. I can't wait to get back to the field. “
