Paul Scholes tells Arsenal transfer target he’s ‘bigger and better’ than joining Gunners

Paul Scholes has given a negative judgment about the idea that Alexander Isak is at Arsenal at Arsenal and tells the Newcastle to strive for “larger and better” things.

This season, Isak has been one of the most productive attackers of the Premier League, scored 17 goals of 22 Starts in the English top flight and generated enormous interest of some of the best clubs in the world.

The Swedish striker was strongly connected to Arsenal in the transfer star of January, although the Gunners ultimately did not sign a new attacker, despite the fact that Mikel Arteta repeatedly called for more quality and depth.

Newcastle -Baas Eddie Howe Was Adamant Isak would not leave in January and now there have been suggestions that Arsenal could move for him instead – although Scholes encouraged the player to “raise his sights”.

Isak played against the Gunners in two 2-0 wins for Newcastle in both legs of the Carabao Cup semi-final while he plague centerbacks William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes. And Manchester United Legend Scholes believes that the 25-year-old would be better to go to a club where big trophies are guaranteed.

“Everyone loves him, but I see no possibility that he is going to Arsenal,” said Scholes on the overlap. “He must get bigger and better. We are talking about Real Madrid, Liverpool needs a center. Think Arsenal would be an option, but I think they would be on the list of options.

“I don't mean that in a bad way, but he is in Newcastle, a really good team, a brilliant team, but they are not going to win competition titles, that is the next phase of his career.”

Scholes agreed that Isak Arsenal would take “to the next level” after the 2024-25 season continued without a recognized No. 9, while he also saw injuries to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus, but the legendary ex-middenfielder said it would be a “risk” risk to move to the emirates.

“I think it would be a risk to go to Arsenal and do the same,” he added. “Liverpool has a much better chance, Man City and Real Madrid the same thing. I think his sights should be higher than Arsenal. He is a player that man would look at United, but in the position in which we are now … it Is not going to happen.

“Yes. I agree that he brings Arsenal to a different level, he would be brilliant and he might get you over the line. But I just think there is bigger and better in him.”
