Pep Guardiola has made a secret three-day trip to Barcelona to save his wedding-stay with wife Cristina with their house.
The man of the man City has “not given up the hope for his marriage”, despite a divorce announcement in January, sources say.
Pep, 54, took a private jet from Manchester to Barcelona, only a few hours after the 3-1 victory of his team against Plymouth in the FA Cup last Saturday.
City had seven days without a match for yesterday's defeat against Premier League against Nottingham Forest.
A source said: “They spent three nights together in Barcelona, both staying in the parental home.
“Pep went to the dentist on Monday and Cristina went to her fashion store in the city center.
“They met again in the store and spent three hours there before they returned to the house to spend the evening together.
“Pep left for Manchester on Tuesday morning.”
The journey has led to the hope that the couple will save their marriage.
She drove apart after Cristina, 52, went back to Barcelona in 2019.
Manchester City was approached for comment on behalf of Pep.
