‘Pep is stressed, man’ – Man City boss spotted with fresh scratches on head

Pep Guardiola has been seen again with more scratches on his head.

The boss of Manchester City, 54, saw his side vomiting a late 2-1 lead to lose 3-2 to Real Madrid in the Etihad.

The last defeat of City will leave them a tough battle in the Spanish capital next week.

Earlier this season Guardiola wore various cutbacks on his head after City gave a 3-0 lead to Feyenoord in the Champions League.

He continued to say: “I want to harm myself” before he gave an apology for the joke and claimed that he was not going to make self -damaging with his words.

Guardiola again wore scratches on his head during the collision of the city with Club Brugge last month.

Placing a photo of the city boss tonight, a fan on social media wrote: “Pep is stressed man.”

The ruling Premier League champions had started the night by taking pleasure in Vinicius Jr's Ballon d'Or Snub, with fans who lifted a Tifo from Rodri who lifted the trophy next to the message “Stop crying your heart”.

City then took the lead in 19 minutes, after a long VAR check, Erling Haaland considered Josko Gvardiol on the side.

Kylian Mbappe went to a serious way, with his shinned volley, Ederson defeated.

Haaland restored the lead of the city of the penalty place after replacement Phil Foden was taken down in the box.

But the old boy of the city of Brahim Diaz immediately made in the 86th minute, before Jude Bellingham broke the hearts of home fans with a stop -time winner, with both goals a result of blunders of the hosts.

After the game, Pep said: “Often it happens this season. I know the quality of Real Madrid. We really started the game in the first ten minutes and took it to them.

“In the second half we tried to attack too quickly.

“Sometimes it's not the best performance compared to that of the past three seasons, but it happens because they [Real Madrid] are an exceptional team.

“It happens many times this season. We have given away what we had.”

Asked if the expiry were the result of something mentally, he added: “Bad decisions, that's all.”

A distraught John Stones struggled to explain the collapse afterwards.

He told Prime Video: “A few games after the Arsenal One, I don't know how to put it into words right away, it's so raw and frustrating for everyone.

“We were in the game so late and then it is two situations that happen and we admit. It is frustrating as a defender to get away with that result.

“It is a sense of anger and frustration.

“We have to see games better. The manager said we should take responsibility for what we do on the field, I think we do that. We have to act when these bad moments happen.

“Today we had a great opportunity to go to the Bernabeu with a 2-1 lead. It's not done. We have to stay positive, which is now difficult.

“As the manager says we have to look at ourselves and take responsibility.

“We were at the top of the start of the game and we know that it really has quality to get out in the second half. It is avoidable of us as the eleven on the field. We have to do better – it's as simple as that .

“We must maintain a positive mentality and try to make up for it.”

City will be confronted again in the second stage next Wednesday.

In the meantime, they will organize Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday.
