Nobody knows about the next Bantamweight title fight than Petr Yan.
The former dual UFC Bantamweight champion has more than likely to have obtained another title option in the Co-Main event of UFC Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
After defeating Deiveson Figueiredo in the main event of UFC Macau, Petr Yan returned to three rounds against #13-ranged competitor and Sean O'Malley's teammate Marcus Mcghee.
Yan had a slow start as he usually does, won rounds 2 and 3 with his striking and some struggle too. Yan got the unanimous decision, his third consecutive victory in the Bantamweight Division.
Yan knows what he wants then, and that is the winner of Merab Dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen on UFC 320.

Petr Yan makes '60 -40 ′ prediction for Merab Dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen
Yan went 10 rounds with the champion and his next challenger.

Yan had to fight against a game Sandhagen over five rounds at UFC 280 to get it, and won by unanimous decision in one of the most difficult challenges and largest versions of his career.
The champion Dvalishvili got his way in 2023 and got him 11 times out of no fewer than 49 attempts to win a crooked decision.
Who prefers Yan in a struggle of former enemies?
“I think [the odds are] 60-40 and Merab is a favorite, 'Yan leaned to Dvalishvili at the UFC Abu Dhabi after the show.
“I want to fight the winner of this fight,” Yan added.
“I have already defeated Cory Sandhagen and I just want to face when I'm completely healthy.”
Yan said in the past that he was injured on his way to his 2023 fight with Dvalishvili.
Petr Yan explains why he didn't wait for a title shot
Back-to-back victories on Song Yadong and former two-time flight weight champion Deiveson Figueiredo, Yan could have waited very well for the UFC to give him a title chance.
Yan says that the UFC even promised him the title shot, but he has chosen it and in the meantime fights with Mcghee.
“I just want to stay active,” Yan said through a translator.
“I have already told the organization, I wanted to fight 5 rounds, 10 rounds, I'm going to do it.
“I am healthy, young and I want to take care of my family.
“I have a large family,” Yan revealed.
“I have seven brothers and sisters, so I work hard so that everyone will be happy,” Yan added.
