2022 PFL Welterweight Champion Sadibou Sy made the top 10 of the Top 10 Sports Center with a bad knockout.
Sadibou Sy was always known for its electrical striking, especially after winning the 2022 PFL Welterweight Championship and the $ 1 million Grand Prize. But while he worked to defend the belt in the 2023 season, he achieved the victory of his life, which earned him fame and recognition worldwide.
Sy, a top training partner of UFC stars such as Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev, returns to the PFL Smartcage this weekend in the opening round of the PFL World Tournament. He will be confronted with Dalton Rosta for a place in the semi -final of the new tournament format of the competition.
If you blink at the wrong time, you could miss one of Sy's sizzling fast chopping, while during the PFL welter weight season of 2023 he showed against Shane Mitchell.

Sadibou Sy struck his opponent unconscious with a rotating wheel shovel
Mitchell was considered by many fans and experts to be the 'Dark Horse' of the PFL Welterweight Division when he met in front of Sy on 2023 PFL 6. But after a back and forth first two rounds of their fight, Sy Plte Mitchell with one of the most brutal main kicks you will ever see.
While Mitchell briefly lowered his guard while putting Sy under pressure against the cage, Sy went against and hurried on the opening by landing a spinning wheel straight to Mitchell's head. Mitchell immediately became unconscious before he landed on the Canvas and sent the spectators of Atlanta in a frenzy.
Sy's Knock -Out earned him a place at ESPN Sportscenter's 'Top 10' later that evening, and helped bring new eyes to the PFL and MMA. The Swede achieved a play -off place with the victory over Mitchell and defeated Carlos Leal in the semi -final before a loss for Magomedkerimov at the PFL World Championship 2023 Magomed.
Sadibou Sy is one of the experienced stars of the PFL after several big names have left the smartcage for the Octagon
Sy is one of the few remaining PFL stars on the schedule of the competition after a whole series of hunters who leave for the UFC and other opportunities. Patricio 'Pitbull', perhaps the biggest hunter in Bellator's history, received his release from the PFL after a tumultuous dispute with the copper brass.
Pitbull made his UFC debut on UFC 314 last weekend and lost a unanimous decision against former interim champion Yair Rodriguez. Former Bellator Vederweight Ster Aaron Pico was signed earlier this month at the promotion and is expected to make his promotion debut
Former PFL-Superster Kayla Harrison will fight for the Bantamweight title of the UFC Ladies on UFC 316 after a 2-0 run in the Octagon. She broke up last year with the PFL after she had become the face of the competition during the earlier stages of her career.
While Sy is preparing for his middleweight return this Friday, he will fight with much to prove while competing for another PFL championship. Even at the age of 38, it is best not to doubt Sy's Elite Kickboxing.
